I have lived in the northern Atlanta area since 2002. I became a licensed REALTOR in 2004. My desire is to help people create and implement a successful game plan to acquire the best property for their real estate needs, whether it is a first home, a larger home, a downsize home, or a retirement home. I also have earned the SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation from the National Association of REALTORS to provide specialized support for seniors with unique housing needs.
Since moving from Milton to Canton in 2008, I have focused my marketing activities in Cherokee County and surrounding communities. Cherokee is the fastest growing county in metro Atlanta. I joined the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, and I've developed a strong network of business partners to help sellers prepare their homes for sale, and to provide needed services for buyers as they settle into their new homes.
Tailoring the right strategy for each client is the most interesting part of my marketing activities. All buyers and sellers have unique sets of dreams, financial resources, and anxieties that must be balanced and managed for success in their real estate transactions. I help my clients navigate the complexities of the buying and selling processes, so they can make wise and timely decisions to achieve their goals.
On a personal note, I have been married for 40+ years. I met my wife at a military installation in Maryland where I was assigned as an Army officer. We like to travel and we also are dog lovers. I'm active in fitness and running activities, I run Atlanta's Peachtree Road Race each 4th of July, and I run in other 5K and 10K races during the year. With a fondness for rock, country, and bluegrass/gospel music, I occasionally play harmonica and percussion in musical gatherings with friends and church-groups.
I grew up in New Jersey, but I went to college and graduate school in North Carolina. My wife and I have lived in six different states, and we have decided that Georgia has the best combination of climate, amenities and culture for our lifestyle. We're glad to be here.
